A few days on the Northumbrian coast enabled me to catch up with both Todd's Canada Goose and Richardson's Cackling Goose, the latter recently split as a separate species. I got photos of the former alongside Common Canada Goose 'imports' in Budle Bay and scoped the latter before dark in a nearby field. A Yellow-browed Warbler gave me the run-around on Holy Island and apart from this there was nothing to write home about.
