Scarce Grebe, Shrike & raptor show

A full day out in Northumberland wasn't quite as spectacular as I had hoped but I got decent views of the Red-necked Grebe at Linton NR, a familiar Great Grey Shrike at Prestwick Carr (a returning individual?) and some nice shots of Common Buzzard and Sparrowhawk at the Hawfinch site at Abbey Mill - all in beautiful sunshine. Sadly no Hawfinches, though.
