Young Ring-necked outshines Scaup

The sub-adult Ring-necked showed well this time at Pine Lake, Lancashire. (I'd missed it on a previous occasion.) The light was good, too, if a little too bright, and there were about six Scaup, too. Pity neither came close enough for a really nice shot...
