Immaculate Med & smart Short-eareds

An adult Mediterranean Gull and a Purple Sandpiper showed well at St Mary's Island (but there was no sign of the Caspian Gull). Indeed, the former came to land on the grass verge by the car-park and posed for its photo to be taken. (There was also a Kingfisher here.) The Short-eared Owls (7!) showed well through binoculars at Holywell Pond Obelisk and I got a few nice shots but not quite what I wanted.
