No Cackler but Waxwings again and showy Egret

The Richardson's Cackling Goose was nowhere to be seen at Caerlaverock but a wonderfully confiding Little Egret made up for it at nearby Shearington. No Great Egret or Smew at Castle Loch either but at least the Waxwings were showing well at Dumfries - and had increased in number by 10, to 37.
