Finders keepers, escapee maybe

I had a good day today. Despite being unable to pin down the recently reported Great Egrets at Rockcliffe, I did find my own Snow Goose - albeit a possible escapee... Thanks, Birdguides! I have to say, it didn't behave like a tame bird and wouldn't allow close approach. It also flew like a true wild bird and didn't have clipped wings or 'bling'. Hey, ho! Other good birds nearby included Lesser Whitethroat, Spotted Flycatcher, Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Tree Sparrow, numerous Willow Warblers and an unusually large flock of immature Goldfinches.
